1. How far in advance should we book our North Carolina wedding photographer?

Most North Carolina wedding dates book 9–15 months in advance, especially during peak spring and fall seasons. If you’re planning a wedding in Greensboro, Charlotte, Raleigh, or surrounding areas, I recommend inquiring as soon as you have your venue secured. That said — always reach out. I occasionally have last-minute availability.

2. What’s included in your wedding photography packages?

As a North Carolina wedding photographer, my packages are designed to tell your full love story. Wedding packages typically include timeline planning assistance, coverage based on your selected hours, professionally edited high-resolution images, polaroid images, USB copy of  images, an online gallery for downloading and sharing, and printing rights. Every package is crafted to capture the moments you won’t get back — from details to dance floor.

Yes — and it’s one of the most important parts of what I do. I work closely with North Carolina couples (and planners, if you have one) to create a photography-friendly timeline that allows space for portraits, candid moments, and breathing room so your day feels relaxed instead of rushed.

4. What is a lifestyle session and who is it for?

Lifestyle sessions are relaxed, storytelling-focused photo sessions designed to capture your season of life authentically. Whether you’re booking a couples session, family session, maternity shoot, senior portraits, or branding session in Greensboro or anywhere in North Carolina, these sessions are built around connection, movement, and real moments — not stiff posing.

5. What happens if it rains during our session?

North Carolina weather can definitely keep us on our toes — but don’t worry, we always have a plan. For lifestyle sessions (couples, families, maternity, seniors), rescheduling is absolutely an option (no added fees or cost) if the forecast looks unfavorable. I typically monitor the weather closely 24–48 hours before your session and we’ll make a decision together. Your experience matters more than forcing a session in bad weather. That said, light overcast skies are actually beautiful for photos — they create soft, flattering light. If it’s just cloudy, we’re golden. If you’re feeling adventurous, a light drizzle can also create romantic, cinematic images — but the final call is always collaborative and pressure-free.

6. We’re awkward in front of the camera. Will you help us pose?

Absolutely. Almost every couple or family says this before their session. My approach blends gentle direction with natural prompts so you never feel stiff or overly posed. Whether it’s an engagement session or a family session in Greensboro, my goal is authentic interaction — not forced smiles.

7. How many photos will we receive and when will they be delivered?

For weddings, couples typically receive several hundred fully edited images depending on coverage hours. Lifestyle and couples sessions include 25+ professionally edited images. Wedding galleries are typically delivered within several weeks, while lifestyle sessions are delivered sooner approximately two to three weeks. You’ll also receive a sneak peek typically next day after your session or wedding.

8. Do you travel for weddings and photo sessions in North Carolina?

Yes! I photograph weddings and lifestyle sessions throughout North Carolina, including Greensboro, Charlotte, Raleigh, and surrounding areas. Travel details and fees are always discussed upfront so everything is clear before booking.
